	Parking cost	$7 daily rate, evenings and weekends. $11 on weekdays. As of October 2019, different parents report free / grace periods of 15 minutes, 5 minutes, and zero. Your experience may vary.

To avoid this, pay with a credit card at the exit gate. On weekends, you might go to the parking machine and be charged $7, only to find the exit gate is already open or opens automatically without a ticket. To avoid this, pay with a credit card at the exit gate. If you plan to stay regularly, consider getting a Visitor Card. Minimum purchase is $140 (20 visits) plus $14 bonus (2 free visits). 	Wayfinding	From Lot P6 Level L1 (underground lot) Route 1: Walking map Park as close to the parkade ticket gate as you can. In the concrete wall nearest you, there are several doors. Go through the door to the LEFT of door A113, between a sign that says "L1 S02" (on the left) and an "Emergency" call box (on the right). Tip: The correct door has a sign on the left, near the floor, that says "The Butt Stops Here". Door 1 Go through the second door immediately ahead, up the stairs, and exit. Door 2 Directly in front of you is the V Building entrance. Go in and take the left-hand stairs DOWN. Building sign Entrance Stairs Change rooms are to the left behind gated doors. Tell the desk you are dropping off / picking up for Synchro, and they will buzz you in. Head straight down the hall; do not turn. Women's change room is on the left-hand side. Route 2: Walking map Go throught the main parkade access doors. Doors Go up the stairs. Stairs You will exit out of a big glass structure. Do a 180 degree turn LEFT. Follow the path to Muster Point V1. Path Muster point sign Turn right at the Muster Point V1 sign. Follow the path. There will be an open field on your left. Follow the road to Building "V" entrance. 	If You Get Lost	If you can orient, V Building is located on the south side of campus. Tip: The sun is usually southwards. If you can see the big castle-like building, that is Heritage Hall. Heritage Hall If you are facing this building, the correct V Building entrance is behind you. Just turn around and walk down the path. SAIT has signposts in many spots. Try to locate "Campus Centre (V Building)", "Cohos Commons Field", "P6", or "L1". Signposts Sometimes, if you look around, you can see the soccer / football field. The parkade is located under the field; V Building is right next to the field. It is not uncommon for people to ask directions.
	Viewing	Poolside viewing on metal bleachers. Entry through the change rooms. For spectator events only, poolside viewing is accessible at the end of the hallway, past the change rooms. Remove shoes before entering pool area. Pool deck is sometimes wet. Viewing areas
	Staying There	If you go up the stairs, and keep to the right, you will find the Jugo Juice, Location. Route Beyond that, to the right, there are a few tables and chairs by the ice rink. There is no other decent seating in the building. V Building area Also in V building are the Gateway Restarant and the Odyssey coffee shop. Both are student-run and closed weekends. Other on-campus options: Stan Grad Centre (Building MB) lounge areas (4 min walk): Building location, Walking map, Seating Starbucks, Johnson Cobbe Building (Building K, 5 min walk): Starbucks Tim Hortons, Senator Burns Building (Building N, 4 min walk): Tim Hortons All of the above have seating with tables. 	Notes	Practices often end with "dryland" exercises, which occur in a room other than the pool itself. The most commonly used room in 2019 was located immediately left after being buzzed through the doors. For other rooms, ask at the desk. To avoid confusion, tell your swimmer to meet you back at the front desk (where you got buzzed in).
